Once Upon a Time...

This book is dedicated to the people of Book 1.

Your part in my story has given me an inner strength that I never knew I possessed, and a profound relationship with God that has transformed my life.

Not long ago, I shared with a character from Book 1 just before they departed, “These are the experiences that draw a person closer to God.”

Every attempt to divert me from my faith and purpose was in vain.

Here I stand.

Why do I want to share this story?

Because it is unlike any other you will encounter, writing has been a long-standing coping mechanism for me, and I yearn to connect with my solemate. To do that, I must amplify my existence to the world. The person I hope will read this most is my solemate.

This does not mean I don’t want you to “hear” it. If you can grow from it, then absolutely, I welcome you. However, if you find yourself leaving chapters feeling frustrated or judgmental, then perhaps this isn’t for you.
